Autism and Disproportionate School Discipline

Tammy Nyden speaks about her family’s lived experience and statistics on the disproportionate use of school-to-prison pipeline policies on youth with autism at the event: “Family and Autism: An Honest Conversation with Andrew Yang” hosted by The Iowa City Autism Community.

This event is part of our ongoing efforts to share our stories and children’s needs with candidates during the presidential caucus season in Iowa. It is not an endorsement of any candidate.
